We provide a range of landscape and environmental services for sectors and industries throughout Scotland, the UK, and Europe
ASH work with transmission operators and developers providing environmental assessment services in the development of new grid connections and the reinforcement of existing transmission infrastructure. This includes environmental appraisals to review the implications of potential routes for overhead line or underground cables and option assessment for potential new electricity substation sites.
We have built up a specialist in-house team of professionals with a wealth of knowledge and experience within the hydroelectric generation sector who are responsible for preparing scoping reports, coordinating the environmental impact assessment process, preparing Environmental Statements and undertaking environmental monitoring and compliance on site.
We are experineced in playing a coordinating role by leading and managing project teams in the development of transport and infrastructure projects. Where complementary expertise is required, ASH landscape architects and environmental consultants can draw on close links with other related professions.
ASH is experienced in providing feasibility studies, environmental impact services, concept designs, masterplans, contract drawings and documentation, site supervision, project management and landscape maintenance and management services on both commercial and residential developments.
ASH has been involved in marine and coastal developments for the past three decades both in the UK and abroad. These have varied from landscape and seascape assessments for aquaculture sites in Scotland, feasibility studies for resort developments in Malta and Gozo, to major water frontage redevelopments in Liverpool, Manchester and Dundee.
