ASH has a long and successful history working for and with clients in the transportation and infrastructure sector. This experience has included a number of road projects in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland, as well as large infrastructure projects such as the award winning Falkirk Wheel.
Our Transport and Infrastructure Experience
ASH has experience in the routeing analysis and environmental impact assessment of a variety of transport and infrastructure projects, and have worked with clients to design and implement landscape mitigation and planting schemes to help assimilate such developments into the environment
ASH are experienced at playing a co-ordinating role by leading and managing project teams in the development of infrastructure and transportation projects. Where complementary expertise is required, ASH landscape architects and environmental consultants can draw on close links with other related professions.

A1 Belfast to Dublin
ASH undertook a landscape and visual impact assessment for three proposed developments to the A1 Belfast to Dublin road.
A830 at Arisaig
ASH provided landscape design and management consultancy for the selection of a preferred route for the A830 at Arisaig.
A9 at Helmsdale
ASH was appointed to examine the landscape and visual amenity issues related to improvement options for the A9 at Helmsdale.
Edinburgh Tram
ASH carried out assessments to identify the likely affects of Edinburgh Tram routes 2 and 3.
Falkirk Wheel
ASH worked as masterplanners, landscape architects and environmental auditors for the award winning Falkirk Wheel.
A74(M) Motorway
ASH worked as environmental consultant for the A74(M) motorway construction between Beattock and Annandale.
Upper Forth Crossing
ASH undertook route selection, scheme design and environmental assessment for the Upper Forth Crossing.
